Wake Me Up When September Ends...

What? It's 30th of September already? How time flies...

A lot of things happened in September. 4 years ago, my mother passed away. 30 years ago, I was born into my family. And also, my late father's birthday was also in September.

And now today is the end of the month? My, my, how time flies! Tomorrow it will be October.

So, yeah, even though at times, it's very difficult, just know and have faith that all those challenges will come to pass. You are strong, and you could face whatever it is that you have to face. My mother passed away one day before my birthday. And for the last few years after that, I could not celebrate my birthday without some sorrow and grief in my heart. But now, I think I am beginning to heal, Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah. I pray that she's happy there, and waiting for judgement day so that we could meet again. I need to remember her strength, her patience and most of all, her love. She would not have wanted me to grieve over her for a long time... I have to live my life to the fullest and be happy. But most of all, give love, like she does....

Mak, I love you and I miss you. Thank you for being there for me, especially during my darkest hour. You made me the person I am today, and I would try to be the best in my life, whether in this life or in the hereafter, insya Allah, Allah willing.

So Far, So Good

The more you do, the more you can do... ~Thomas Jefferson
It's been a while since I last wrote, and in English what's more, huh? Y'all know that my BM is not very good right? That's why I write my blog mostly in English.

Anyway, life had been hectic this last couple of weeks. UPSR, competitions and also went to TPM Hari Raya Feast. When I went home last weekend, I only rested and posted FB status and downloaded Korean drama and went shopping. I didn't feel like writing anything in this blog, the school blog and my English language T&L blog.

So, here I am today. I still have a few projects that I have to complete before the school holiday. They are:

1. Corporate Cd of SKLGM. I need to insert pictures to make it colourful and interesting.
2. Public Speaking Competition - Syazana needed to be trained. I already gave her the added text for her to practice. I hope she wins for the state level! Praying for the best!
3. Another competition to enter. So far, I've already gathered the relevant materials. I hope that I get to finish it before the due date!
4.Action research for year 2011. Haven't gotten started yet, even though I already drafted the ideas in mind!
5. And last, but certainly not least, to complete all my KSSR Year 1 English files! This is the most important since I heard that JPN will be coming to schools  to check on this files! I hope that I manage to complete the files before they come!

Ok, since there are tons of projects that needed to be completed, I need to end this entry here. Besides, after a long rest from writing, I feel like my brain's gone numb! To leave all my adoring fans out there, here are some quotes:
  • Cultivate the habit of setting aside specific time to do things you love and be with the people you love.
  • The insanity starts when no goals, no plans or commitments are ever made and people you don't care about are taking all your time. You can't say no to them only because you haven't said yes to anything else.
  • On your death bed, you'll not wish for more comfort, that you had found an even easier, softer comfort zone to hide out in. You will wish you had ventured out more. That you had spoken up more. Tried more things. Reinvented yourself.

  • Stop using the excuse - "Growing Older" as a reason to lessen your effort and activities. You can step things up. You can effect a quickening. You can take over the controls of your own energy system. Why not? you did it as a child. Just do it again, this time with consciousness and wisdom.

  • We "sentence" ourselves to the lives we get by who we say we are.
  • The more action I build into my life, the better I sleep and the less self-pity I feel. The better I sleep, the more energy I have. The more energy I have, the more will I have for taking action and the more action I take, the happier I feel. The happier I feel, the better my relationships. It's a complete cycle.
  • Acceptance beyond forgiveness.
  • Use We/I instead of They/You.

Kepentingan Reputasi

Ada pepatah mengatakan: If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Practise what you preach. Jangan jadi hipokrit. Jangan memburukkan reputasi orang lain. Kelak, di akhirat kelak akan ada balasannya. Jangan mudah memijak maruah orang lain!

Being Stupid

Aku rasa aku nak tulis entry ni dlm BM supaya senang orang faham.

Bodoh. Sapa suka kalau org panggil kita bodoh kan? Tapi bagi aku kan, orang zaman sekarang ni dah hilang common sense dalam hidup ni.

Kalau kita tak suka ngan seseorang, perlukah kita melibatkan orang lain? Orang tua berkata, kerana mulut badan binasa kan? Tolong jaga mulut kita.

Sekian Terima Kasih...

Post Raya

So, the festive season is over for some (me, at least. Others might be still in raya mood! Back to old routines...)

I enjoyed most of my holiday. Of course, the part of that unpleasant phone call, I really would like to erase from my mind. And the stupid letter. And the more foolish FB message.

The fact that people find my life so interesting to meddle with my life really baffled me. Who am I to them? So pretty, so beautiful or so gorgeous that they find it great to interfere with the way I live my life? If it's one thing I really can't stand, it's unpaid reporters... Hehehehe.... and of course the second thing would be hypocrites...

Moving on to happier subject - yeay, Fadzilah is coming home to Terengganu this December. Couldn't wait to see her! She is one of the sanest and also patient person that I could find. Well, she has her moments, but most of the time, she dishes out sound advices to her really unpredictable friend.... heheheh

Gotta get back to work... till later my adoring readers! (yeah, this is me being sarcastic...)

Ingatan...
