Random Thoughts

Today my sister sent me to school. Bumped into another car on the way to my school on the small road near the entrance of my school. My sister tried to avoid the car but there's not much space on our side. Stupid driver. That person could have avoided our car to that person's side. Hmmm...what went on that person's head? How selfish can you get, that my thought. But I would not let that incident ruin my day. I've got a whole day in front of me.

By the way, yeay! Tomorrow is 1st of November! The school holiday is coming! Can't wait to go home. To be in the same vicinity as the person that I adore, that is heaven to me! I might not tell him how I feel towards him, but the be near and know that he's just a stone throw's away, that is great! Wait for me dear, I'm going back home!

And another thing, the suspense and uncertainty of my job next year. Will I be coming back to Bukit Besi? Will I still be stuck here? Or is change just the thing for me? Only Allah knows what's best for me. I hope that I won't be trapped in this situation forever (okay, that's me being a pessimist!). Make the best out of this situation, Ani!

Maybe our old wounds teach us something. They remind us where we've been and what we've overcome. They teach us lessons about what to avoid in the future. That's what we like to think. But that's not the way it is, isn't it? Some things we just have to learn over and over again...

Things that Matter in Life

What are the things that matter in life? Money? Work? Friends? Family? Status? Fame?

Walk Away

Is it considered weak or just smart to walk away from an argument? I don't like confrontations. I need peace and quiet. That's why I try to avoid large crowds. And of course, I dislike backbiting. Well, gossips are like backbiting, but I try not to be malicious, the key word being try.

Does it feel good to talk bad about other people? Does it feel good to fight with others? 

I don't know about other people, but those two actions left a sour note in my mouth. I am getting on with years. I don't know how long I am going to live on this earth, so I am scared to face Allah.

Ya Allah, save me from backbiting and other people bad intentions. Amin.

My Flavour of the Week

Hahahahaha...nope, I am not crazy over a guy or anything...

I am just mad over the K-drama - Protect the Boss. I really like the story line - the girl plays hero to the boy. It is so funny. Instead of being a maiden in distress, the heroin gets to be a knight in shining armour. And the hero is so adorable in his helplessness. I think that nowadays there are a lot of couple that had switched roles and that is how this drama come about.

Oh well, I just finished downloading the 18th episode of the drama. One Channel is too slow for me. I want to know which boy does the girl pick, so I need to see the latest episode. If I am not mistaken, the web said that it IS the Final episode. But I have to watch it first!

Need to watch the drama. Bye! Btw, if my adoring fans want to watch the drama, y'all could search for it at dramacrazy.net.

I really, really love this song. Hehehehe.... I don’t really know how to express myself, orally, I think. I do much better when I am jotting down how I feel. Once, I said to Madiha that I am like the robot Bumblebee you know – the one from Transformers? I don’t really know how to say what I feel. Usually I like to sing and the song that I sang is related to what I am feeling at that moment. Hahahaha.... That’s why I really like singing – I sang when I am happy, when I am sad and sometimes when I am angry.

I don’t know how I am ever going to say those three words to my soulmate when I found him someday. Huhu, I hope that he’s not one of those persons that expect his wife to say them every other minute! Maybe I’ll just sing him a love song! Hahaha... if his ears could take my voice that always sang out of key!

So yeah.  My love is just like a stereo. He has to be tone deaf to be spending the rest of his life with me.

My entries lately had been kinda dark I think. I don’t know why... maybe I have been too emotional. I gave the world the permission to dictate how I live my life, how I feel, how I think, how I see things. That’s a big NO-NO! Take it back Ani, take it back. Rescind them. Don’t give others the right to hurt you. Only you could hurt yourself.

Why must I whine about all that happened to me? It is fated, and I must be strong to face what I must face. Ya Allah, please grant me strength to move forward... I dislike being weak and whiny. I must accept the fact that Allah would not burden me with something that I could not bear...

This life, it needs hope. As long as there is hope, nothing could break me. Take that away, and life seems meaningless and empty. So yes, take deep, calming breaths and brave the world. Challenges, difficulties etc, are sent to see how we overcome them. Don’t cope. Coping is just a way of avoiding the issue.

Why I write my blog?

It’s never easy, you know – pouring my heart and soul into this blog, because at the end of the day, people may not get the real meaning of what I meant to convey here. 

There’s this girl I used to know back when I was studying, and she reads my blog and said that I write about her. True, back when I felt nothing but hatred towards her, I used to write about how I felt about her. But that was years ago. Now, I have already forgotten what the big deal is anymore. What is past stays in the past and I hope that she has moved on also. There is no use lingering about what happened back then. She has helped me a lot, too, before we had our falling out. Be happy in life, okay? Don’t think too much. I accepted what happened was not solely your fault, I took the blame too. 

And also, what is happening in my life now also affects how I write nowadays. But I try to write about the positive aspects of my life, even when something bad happened. Hey, they do say when life gives you lemons, make lemonades! At least, I do try, I guess. As a human being, I do tend to slip from time to time and whine about life. There’s nothing more I hate in life other than people who like to give excuses and whiners. They complain about this, they complain about that. Nothing is right except them. And people who give excuses? They would say anything; do anything, to escape from doing what they have to do. For example, they would say that they can’t do a certain thing because they lacked the facilities. I mean, come on, it’s your responsibilities, and you are paid to do it, so just do it, don’t give stupid excuses.

So, yeah. Not everyone gets the message in my blog, and they think that I write solely for the pleasure of condemning or criticising them. I am sorry for those people. My life doesn’t revolve around them and I try not to be an unpaid CNN reporter. If you think that the content of my blog offends you, you don’t have to read them. That’s why there’s this small icon with the X sign that you could click. If only I could say this to those people – YOU’RE BEING RIDICULOUS!  

Yeah, this is me being bitter because I could not express how I felt in real life because not everyone can take it and the only thing I could do is write about it. Once more, shut up and stop dictating how others should live their lives. We are not your slaves. Before you point your fingers, do check whether you are perfect or not. IN THIS LIFE, NO ONE IS PERFECT, EVEN YOU. Believe it. What goes around comes around. Don’t be judgemental, you don’t have the rights!

Who likes to be tested? When you are faced with life’s challenges, what do you normally do, you asked your self, “why me”? Actually, why not you? This tests are sent to see how resilient you are. It’s not to break you.

So you could see here that a body would be immune to a disease when they are injected or swallow a weakened form of that particular virus. I think here, we could say the same with difficulties that we faced in life. When we already faced that problem, we would be able to solve them or find other ways to solve them. We humans tend to fear the unknown. Trust me, when you have walked through fire (metaphorically speaking), nothing much fazed you after that.

If you could find humour in times of hardship, you could face anything, with Allah’s blessings and guidance, Insya Allah.

Put your whole trust in Him, don’t expect anything from others. If you put your trust in Him, insya Allah, you won’t feel disappointed.

You are strong. Don’t let others tell you otherwise. You have worth, and keep on spreading Allah’s message.

Ani dearest,

Just a reminder to myself so that I would not falter in life, no matter what happens. As long as I am alive, there is always a way to make myself closer to Allah, insya Allah. I should not let others dictate how I live my life. I must follow Allah's path, and not be led astray, insya Allah.

It is your life. And YOU have to be accountable for all your actions. Be strong. Move forward. Like the wise men said, It's not what happens to you, it's what happens IN you!
